This Sunday {M} is going to be making her First Holy Communion, and as I watch her excitement as time grows near, I can help but think about how excited I was when she was baptized into the Catholic faith and what a great gift that was. Now as she makes her First Holy Communion I see how the excitement has transferred into her. ( I am excited also) What a blessing that she is able to make this sacrament while attending a Catholic school and able to really know and understand that she is receiving the body and blood of Christ.
When I made my first Holy communion I did not understand fully what was going on, Mostly I was excited to be able to get up and walk around in mass ( I know I know ) I am just glad the {M} gets it!
So in the order of sacrament and how they seem to be coming so fast These two dress make me think about the day {K} and I have to give her away to her husband and how there will be tons of excitement and joy but sadness at the same time. Thankfully that is not the next sacrament.

Awww... my oldest is having her First Communion next year, and I don't know how I will make it through the Mass without bawling my eyes out. ;)
